AAA Imaginary Friends Searching

Cercasi amico/a immaginario/a gitante per fine luglio/inizio agosto, per condividere vacanze al più interessante festival estivo sixties-mod d’Europa.
Sarà a Gijon dal 30 luglio al 4 agosto, ci si arriva da Roma (oltre che da Londra), ci sono diversi gruppi interessanti e dj che suoneranno tutta la notte nella località asturiana, che dalle foto e da quanto dicono quelli che ci sono stati sembra proprio interessante, dalle spiagge alla cucina, per non parlare delle danze.

Siccome non conosco nessuno che abbia interesse ad andarci, mi rivolgo a voi immaginari che potreste trovarvi proprio ora a canticchiare Pictures of Lily, scattare fotografie di temporali e fiumi in piena, vedere film di animazione: abbandonate tutto e partite con me per le Asturias. Ci attendono quattro giorni di mare, cibo, alcol e grande musica. Drop dead amazing. Attendo i vostri messaggi di adesione sul blog, magari riusciamo a formare una “EuroYéYé Barmy Army”. Mi raccomando, vestitevi bene ed evitate il Topolino-Style. Per le donne,  consigliato il vestitino nero.

Sentirete suonare James Hunter, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Talk!, Doctor Explosion, Los Peyotes, Louis Lament, Brian Auger, The Flirtations, The Attention, dj di tutta europa con i loro Allnighters, vedrete esposizioni di pop art, una rassegna di film culto anni ’60, un mercatino sixties, una sfilata di moda e un’incontro di scooter in puro stile “Quadrophenia”.

I’m looking for imaginary male or female friends who wish to go, at the end of july/beginning of august, to a holiday at the most interesting sixties-mod summer festival in Europe.
It’ll take place in Gijon from the 30 of july to the 4^th of august, and we can go there from Rome (apart from London), there’ll be a lot of interesting bands and djs who play all night in the Asturian resort, which from the pictures I’ve seen and the talks of people who’ve been there seems to be very nice, from the beaches to the cuisine, and I don’t wanna talk about dances.

Since I don’t know anyone who seems to be interested in go there, I’m talking to you imaginary people who maybe are humming Pictures of Lily just now, or taking pictures of storms and rivers in full spate, or watching some animation movies: give it all up and come with me to Asturias. Four days of sea, food, alcohol and great music are waiting for us. Drop dead amazing. I’m waiting for your answers here on the blog, maybe we could create an “EuroYéYé Barmy Army”. I recommend you to avoid the Mickey Mouse-Style in dressing, you have to use your best clothes, for women the black dress is preferred.

You’ll listen to James Hunter, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Talk!, Doctor Explosion, Los Peyotes, Louis Lament, Brian Auger, The Flirtations, The Attention, djs from all around Europe with their Allnighters sets, and you’ll see a pop art exposition, a sixties cult movies review, a 60’s flea market, a fashion parade and a scooter meeting in real “Quadrophenia” style.
