I want to talk about another artist who died last weekend, the Seeds’ singer Sky Saxon, rather the author of some of the greatest garage hymn in the rock music history. First of all, that Pushin’ Too Hard which is a pure expression of violence, frustration and juvenile rebellion, immortalized in a indelible way by the first volume of Nuggets, maybe the most important compilation ever for the kinds who love this music style.

Voglio ricordare invece un altro artista morto nei giorni scorsi, il cantante dei Seeds Sky Saxon, ovvero l’autore di alcuni dei più grandi inni garage nella storia della musica rock. In primo luogo, quella Pushin’ Too Hard che è pura espressione di violenta frustrazione e rivolta giovanile, immortalata in maniera indelebile nel primo volume di Nuggets, forse la più importante compilation di sempre per chi segue questo tipo di suoni.
